Artists with websites: You may have the most amazing website, and an obvious domain name, but how do people find you that may just have seen your work in passing, or people who haven’t seen your work, but are looking for work of your particular style or subject matter? The ‘Artists in Scotland’ website will guide the viewer to your page with ease, by name, media or subject matter - then link to your website and/or the websites of galleries and art societies that are exhibiting your work.

Artists without websites: We recognise that not all artists have websites or can keep them updated, therefore the ‘Artists in Scotland’ website can often be the first point of contact for buyers and galleries looking for your particular style of work. The viewer can contact you by the traditional methods, i.e: mail, telephone or fax, and you can also direct them to the websites of galleries and art societies that are exhibiting your work.

National Publicity: In either case, the ‘Artists in Scotland’ website is working to get you noticed and improve the opportunity for you to sell your work. We will be advertising the website in every edition of the Art News Scotland magazine (that’s over 100,000 magazines per year) and in other art journals, in Scottish art society and art club magazines and exhibition catalogues, at various Scottish art exhibitions and through links to and from other art-related websites throughout Scotland and beyond. You get all of this for just £25 per year, that’s less than 50p per week.
